HOW OUR COMMUNION BEGAN
The Apostolic Communion of Churches began in 2003 with the birth of a congregation by the name of Christian Life Ministries International under the guidance of Pastor Thomas Henry Jr. Pastor Thomas Henry Jr. was the apostolic overseer to those churches and ministries that came under his apostolic mantle. As Christian Life Ministries International expanded into a fellowship it became known as the Christian Life Network of Churches and Ministries. Its reach soon extended around the globe. By October 2005, Pastor Henry was consecrated as the Bishop and Chief Apostle of Christian Life Ministries International, Inc.
In 2011, the Bishop and Executive Board of Christian Life Ministries International, Inc. changed the Christian Life Network of Churches and Ministries into a communion of churches under the name and style of the Apostolic Communion of Churches. This communion was to be a via media between Pentecostalism in the Protestant Reformation, and the catholic faith of the early apostolic and post-apostolic Church. Its ethos was and remains today to be a Convergence communion of churches, clergy, ministries and even businesses. The Apostolic Communion of Churches is headquartered in Metro Atlanta at the Christian Life Cathedral Ministries, Inc., the non-profit corporation of the Cathedral and Communion. |

WHEN & WHERE WE WORSHIP
The Apostolic Communion of Churches has churches and ministries in various states and countries pastored by some awesome men and women of God, as in the early apostolic and post-apostolic Church.
It is our goal to lead people into the presence of God through praise and worship, teach the Word of God line-upon-line and precept-upon-precept, and then send them into the world in the power of the Holy Spirit to change the world in which they live. Among the churches and ministries in various states and countries forming the Apostolic Communion of Churches, the majority of them can be found within the Americas and Europe, though we have locations in Africa and Asia as well. The churches and ministries within the Apostolic Communion of Churches are located and divided into multiple districts, regions, and dioceses, all under the apostolic authority and oversight of the see of the Christian Life Cathedral, located within the Atlanta metropolitan area, which is seat of the Archbishop of the Apostolic Communion of Churches. |
