OUR HERITAGE IN FAITH
Our faith is grounded on the Faith of the Fathers that have gone before us marked with the sign of faith. Patriarchs, prophets, apostles and bishops of every age that declared the mysteries of the Glorious and Eternal Kingdom of God.
Our faith is based on the first 4 ecumenical councils of the early Church and the Christological statements of the last 3 as far as they are agreeable with Holy Scripture and the testimony of the Church Fathers. We take a "via media" approach between the tradition of Catholicism, and Reformed Protestantism via Pentecostalism. We have a Reformed view of salvation which is always by grace through faith apart from any works. We believe in a faith that is enriched by the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit in the world and Church today.
We strive to recover the practices of the apostolic and post-apostolic Church found in the Scriptures such as frequent Holy Communion celebrated weekly in each assembly where this is possible; ministry to the poor, widows, and orphans; demonstrations, signs, and wonders following the preaching of the Gospel; and teaching the disciples how to walk in Biblical Holiness and not the Pseudo-Holiness that has been preached in many Holiness-Pentecostal churches of the last centuries.
Part of this heritage includes a communion of churches that not only reflect the ritual worship with its ministers at the Tabernacle of Moses at Shiloh but the also the free-style worship with its ministers at Tabernacle of David at Zion.
